The dog play areas in McLaren Park are among the largest in San Francisco and they offer hundreds of big fields and trails. There are two dog areas in this park: one behind the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater and one at the intersection of Mansell Street and John F. Shelley Drive.
From Candlestick Point State Recreation visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, the East Bay Hills, and San Bruno Mountain, as well as relax in the peaceful scenery of the park itself. Its location on the western shoreline of the San Francisco Bay provides a great place for you and your dog to work up an appetite.
The third location we recommend is the Brisbane Dog Park in our hometown of Brisbane, CA. A much-loved, off-leash dog park is well cared for, and is fully fenced with water hoses, bowls, picnic tables and chairs. Located just 10 minutes from SFO!
