Suenos is a band pushing the evolution of jazz into a contemporary setting. Rhythms borrowed from Hip-Hop and R&B blend seamlessly with modal and gospel harmony, with bebop-tinged horns flowing over the top to paint a unique musical portrait. Their sound is flexible and easily adapted to any venue, from large rock clubs to intimate art galleries. The Atlantic included Sueños in a feature for their “Saturday Night in America” series. They have performed at the Fillmore Street Jazz Festival in SF, the PDX Jazz Festival in Portland, and Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Jazz Grill in LA, as well as at secret shows curated by SOFAR Sounds SF, SOFAR Sounds Portland, and SOFAR Sounds New York.
