7 Mile House Hosts Pistahan Tavern 2021

Aug. 15, 2021 — 7 Mile House’s owner, Vanessa Garcia, and bar manager, Maybelyn Wise, hosted the virtual Pistahan Tavern, a segment of the 28th Annual Pistahan Parade and Festival --- a 2-day celebration of all things Filipino in the Bay Area.

During the 30-minute spot, Vanessa and May demonstrated how to make 2 popular 7 Mile House cocktails using Infanta Lambanog, interviewed the owner of Genevieve wine and travel, featured flair bartending champion from Madrid, Denis Barela and shocased stories from Filipino-owned businesses in the cocktail world.

Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the segment and to Al Perez and Randy Ramiro for giving me and Maybelyn Wise the opportunity to host the Tavern.

FUNNY SIDENOTE: Check out the part when I say "we serve dogs" then I correct myself later after a video....hahaha! I am NOT confirming that Filipino stereotype! LOL!
