Where It Started: Mom Cleo's Ube Cheesecake

Long before ube took over social media, it was already on our dessert menu. In 2016, owner Vanessa Garcia's mother and pastry chef, Cleopatra Garcia, known around here as Mom Cleo, added ube cheesecake to 7 Mile House. At the time, most people outside the Filipino community had never heard of ube. It's stayed on our menu ever since, and it's still one of the desserts people ask for by name.

Ube Tres Leches, a Bake Off Original

Our Ube Tres Leches started as an Ube Bake Off entry when baker Aleli Crutchfield won as 2021 Ube Bake Off Champion. This amazing ube dessert was offered on our menu for 5 years! See more Ube Bake Off winners and their stories here.

Ube Colada and Ube-B-Boba

Our Ube Colada is a purple twist on the tropical classic, and you can order it alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Want to take it further? Ask for it with popping boba added and it becomes our Ube-B-Boba, also available either way.

Ube Dot Cake

Our housemade Ube Dot Cake is the work of one of our own servers, Jas, who's the baker behind this masterpiece. Inspired by the flavors so many of us grew up with, it's layered with fluffy ube cake, creamy ube frosting, and rainbow sprinkles, our take on the viral dot cake trend, made uniquely 7 Mile House.
