Neo and Aurora Win the Adobo Cookoff for a Cause 2021!

Congratulations to our Adobo Cookoff for a Cause winners this year! Our 7 Mile Adobo Cookoff People's Choice Award went to Neo Veavea with his "Samoan Adobo"! And our Adobo Cookoff Critic's Choice Award went to Aurora Garcia with her "Braised Garlic Pork Adobo"!

Special thanks to all our home chefs as they all made it so incredibly hard to crown this year's winners. Every dish was so good and had its own character! Thank you Jose DeVino Moore Batiles, Jesse "Ninong Jing" Gonzales, and Mary Ann Ramirez for your hard work, your love of cooking and your selfless dedication to help our community!

We raised $1200 for this year's chosen non-profit recipient, Pistahan Parade and Festival, an annual celebration of Filipino Food and Culture, led by one of our favorite people, Al Perez. Thank you to all our guests who supported our event. It was so satisfying to see that you enjoyed all the yummy Adobo recipes from our 5 amazing home cooks.
