7 Mile House Back In Biz! Takeout & Delivery Starts Wed, April 29

Mostly The Same Menu, Plus New Safety Measures and Physical Distancing Measures In Place

The history of mile houses through the years shows they would evolve as the times called for. From stagecoach and wheel exchange stops, hotels, and sundry shops, mile houses served as a place where horses rested and travelers took a break from the arduous travel. Later, mile houses evolved into popular neighborhood watering holes. In the case of 7 Mile House, it's said it even became a brothel. Over the years we also became a live music venue, sports bar, dog-friendly, and award winning restaurant. Now, we’re being called to evolve again as we face the rebuilding of our communities with health, wellness, and equity in mind.

Please join us at 7 Mile House as we prepare to re-open on Wednesday, April 29, 2020! Send us your good vibes and positive messages, continue participating in our fundraisers, and we’ll “see you at the 7” for takeout!

Information About Our Revised Hours and Menu

Our famous Pork Adobo, add an egg on top from home!

We will begin operating with new hours: Wednesday - Sunday, 12pm - 8pm. As things progress and if demand calls for it, we will extend service days and hours.

The menu will remain with most of our customer favorites, but we’ve had to make the tough decision to take some things off like, oysters, calamari, brunch, BBQ, and most of the drink menu (for now).

We’ll begin offering meal kits, family platters, and frozen packages of our top sellers - Lumpia, Adobo and Sisig! We’re also excited to offer for the first time, bottled sauces of our customer favorites, and grocery items like milk, eggs, onions, potatoes, limes, lemons, and croutons. The updated menu will be released on Wednesday, April 29 at 6am pst.

A Letter From Vanessa Garcia,Owner, Caretaker and Historian
of 7 Mile House Sports Bar & Grill

The iconic and historic 7 Mile house has been open since 1858 in Brisbane, CA, just on the outskirts of San Francisco (7 miles, to be exact). For the last fo...

Dear 7 Mile House friends, family & community,

After being out of work for more than a month now, I’ve been dreaming of the day we would open. I even promised a “big ass” party for a comeback. I dreamt of 7 Mile House with your smiling faces and content bellies happily dancing to the music of a live band on a packed night.

Reality hit me today.
Let’s face it. 7 Mile House and all restaurants won’t ever be the same. After this is over, things won’t immediately go back to “the way they were.” We are faced with the grim reality that the future of the hospitality and entertainment industry has been turned upside down with its guts ripped apart and no one knows what the future looks like.

But as I scramble to find our place in this virus-plagued society, I cannot help but think of 7 Mile’s 162-year-old past. Although, deeply discouraged from this devastating blow we are experiencing, I am finding inspiration and strength from my predecessors: former immigrant owners who navigated through defining moments in history such as the 1906 earthquake, the Spanish flu in 1918 and the Great Depression in the 30s.

I know little of their struggles, but I do know one thing: that 7 Mile House is a story of resilience and that’s not about to end now.
