"A group of friends and I decided to meet up one night at the 7 Mile House for some dinner and drinks. While my girlfriends and I waited for others to arrive, a strange man sat down next to me, turned to my friends, and asked, “Excuse me, is this Abby?”
We all laughed because although we knew of each other, that was the first time we had ever met. Several dates, a wedding, and two kids later, here we are where it all began. Thank you, 7 Mile!" - Abby Ochoa
Another 7 Mile Love Story comes from our veteran, but now retired bartender, Monica and her husband Vic Ramil.
It was St. Patty’s Day. My friend and I had planned to have a couple drinks at 7 mile before meeting up with a big group of friends in the city. I walk into 7mile and see Monica singing on stage. I ask the server who she is and he tells me she’s one of the bartenders. After a couple drinks, my buddy and I leave as planned. We are already a few blocks down the street when I turn to him and say, “Hey man, you’re gonna have to go without me. Something’s telling me if I don’t go back and talk to her, I’m gonna regret it for the rest of my life.” I went back, and the rest is history. - Vic Ramil

10 years ago my friend’s brought me to the 7 Mile for the first time. That’s where I met Aaron for the we chatted for a minute. That was it. A few weeks later my friend’s and I went back to the 7 Mile for dinner and Karaoke. Aaron was there with his friends. Our eyes met across the room and we had shots all night long and we sang our duet. We have been married for almost 8 years and have two beautiful children. - Holly
